The Marina staff are still busy getting boats in for the winter, today they lifted 3 more yachts. The yacht shown here is called SPECULATOR, the Owner and Crew are awaiting lift out.
Speculator is one of the last deep keel yachts to be lifted out ready for winter storage at the Exe Sailing Club
Mast being taken down and placed in cradles on the boat ready for the lift
Up and away onto the boat transporter and round to the sailing club for winter storage to join other yachts already lifted out from the marina.
Shallow and bilge keel yachts already in the storage area were lifted out over the wall on 12th October. These yachts were brought up adjacent to the sea wall on a high tide and lifted into place by crane
